About This School
Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (SSES) is a private Chinese school founded in 2003. It is a boarding school, which caters for about 9000 students from Kindergarten to Senior High School (3 -19 years old) from all parts of China and a small number of international students. While most of the school follows the Chinese National Curriculum, our International Department caters for those who are seeking an international education, and wish to further their studies in an overseas university.
Since April 2010, the school has been authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and so became an IB World School. It is by far the only Chinese school in Shanghai that is authorised by the IBO to offer all its programmes, namely the IB Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, and the IB Diploma Programme.
The school currently has over 70 expatriate teachers from 16 countries teaching different subjects across the school. With the school continuously expanding its educational presence, we welcome more professional educators and teachers to join, and share your expertise, experience, and knowledge with this big family.
Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the indication of your preferred position(s). Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. We will assist the successful candidate in obtaining the working permit, and the working visa.
